Youth Development Clinic of Newark
(973) 623-5080
Newark
Our mission is to provide mental health treatment primarily to children under the age of 18 years, including family members in whatever form the family exists, with the goal of helping clients attain effective personal, family, and school/community functioning.
The Youth Development Clinic will adapt to the needs and changes in the community in ways of delivering services most effectively, i.e., through best practice models that have been demonstrated to be effective. The Youth Development Clinic works in cooperation with other agencies, including academic institutions and mental health certification boards toward the end of improving the mental health and functioning of all persons in the community, particularly of its children. Training opportunities are provided to promote the ability of mental health professionals to work with a culturally diverse and underserved population.
