NJ4S Essex is part of New Jersey’s statewide student support network, serving over 128 eligible public schools in Essex County. We offer universal prevention education for students, parents, and school staff from Pre-K through 12th grade. For grades 6–12, 32 prevention consultants deliver evidence-based group programs focused on social-emotional wellness, substance use, suicide prevention, sexual health and pregnancy bullying- violence prevention, and LGBTQIA+ support. For youth and families in need of deeper support, 10 licensed clinicians are available to provide trauma-informed individual, group, and family mental health counseling.
