NJ State Elks Special Children's Committee Scholarship Program

Applications must be received by April 10, 2026
The NJ State Elks Special Children’s Committee is offering scholarships for graduating NJ seniors with disabilities. Two $10,000 awards and two $4,000 runner-up scholarships are available.

The program awards:

  • Two $10,000 scholarships (one male, one female)
  • Two $4,000 runner-up scholarships
  • Scholarship aid is provided in the form of annual tuition payments:
  • Up to $2,500 per year for winners
  • Up to $1,000 per year for runners-up
  • Funding may continue for up to four years.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a bona fide New Jersey resident
  • Must be a graduating senior attending a New Jersey high school
  • Must have a verified physical and/or mental disability (including learning disabilities)
  • Awards are based on academic standing, financial need, and general worthiness
