American Habitare and Counseling’s primary mission is to improve the quality of care provided to substance abuse individuals by providing substance abuse treatment for opioid dependent individuals. We are proud to say that we provide quality service. We stand by our motto “Every client is our only client”. Each client receives individual attention throughout their course of treatment. There is always a security guard present during operational hours in order to ensure the safety of staff and clientele.

Clients are represented from all racial and cultural backgrounds. The program’s statistics indicates clients of different ages, sex and ethnicity. We recognize the importance of having as many staff from the same ethnic groups as our client population. We strive to accomplish that through outreach, recruitment and providing culturally competent care. The program is staffed by qualified professionals consisting of an ASAM certified Medical Director, Registered Nurses, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, and administrators.
