The Lennard Clinic exists to enrich the quality of life of opioid-dependent adults in Essex, Union, and surrounding counties to reduce illicit drug use, decrease criminal activities, enhance health conditions, and promote social/economic stabilities by providing superior treatment services.

Certified by Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMSHA), licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, and accredited as an opioid treatment provider by the Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), TLC offers a full range of services.

The Lennard Clinic offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction. Our outpatient MAT services involve the use of medication and support services. Combining behavioral therapies with medication offers a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to recovery. Our opioid addiction treatment services aim to address every aspect of recovery. We understand that relief from withdrawal symptoms is only the beginning of your journey. Once the medicine reduces your cravings, you can focus on addressing the effects of addiction in other parts of your life. The staff at TLC will help you develop coping skills that let you change your behaviors. We have extensive experience providing methadone maintenance treatment (MMT). You may also request treatment with buprenorphine or one of its compounds. During intake, your clinician will guide your treatment decision.
