Lake Bryn Mawr Camp

Since 1921, Lake Bryn Mawr Camp has been a summer home for generations of campers who converge on Bryn Mawr mountain each June to learn, play, run, laugh, dance, shout, sing, cheer, make friends, honor old traditions, establish new traditions, and celebrate summer in a loving and spirited community. We invite you to explore Bryn Mawr online and learn what it means to be a Bryn Mawr Angel.

At Bryn Mawr, we believe that each of our "Angels" deserves the chance to shine in her own way. We strive to make Bryn Mawr a safe haven in which each camper can feel free to express herself through work, play and just being a girl.

Bryn Mawr campers receive high levels of instruction in tennis, soccer, gymnastics, English riding, basketball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, dance, swimming, boating, waterskiing, and arts and crafts. They challenge themselves on our high and low ropes courses and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. They perform in camp musicals and dance ensembles and publish their own newspaper, The Poplar Post.

We encourage our campers to learn to waterski, kayak, throw a pot, jump a three-foot crossrail, hit a fastball, serve an ace, swim, vault, dance, and shine onstage. And we give them all the one-on-one attention they need to accomplish their goals.

Of course, not all the fun happens on campus. We compete against neighboring camps in gymnastics, swimming, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis, and lacrosse.

Above all, we strive to make Bryn Mawr a place where campers are encouraged to branch out, try new things, and learn and grow in a supportive atmosphere. Each Bryn Mawr camper is surrounded by people who want to see her succeed!
