The CCEP program can provide 4 months of free shelter for homeless women who are pregnant or postpartum. The mother must also have a substance abuse issue and have at least one child up to the age of 1 year old. The mother can also have a mental health issue. The CCEP program is a lower level of care.
The mother can be currently homeless in Essex County or any other county but be willing to stay at Isaiah House for 4 months. We provide IOP and PTSD and Recovery groups. We will also assist in finding permanent housing before the 4 months have ended.
Eligibility | A woman must be homeless and pregnant or postpartum with a child up to 12 mos. The mother must have a substance abuse history and be clean for 15 days or more. The mother must be willing to attend IOP 3 times a week and groups 2 times a week. |
